The first-ever Garfield restaurant opened in Toronto in May of 2019, and Acadia Design Consultants helped create the inviting, cozy space. From design to construction and everything in between, this pizza and lasagna eatery was an orange-striped delight to create.
Acadia was the general contractor for this project, which required us to manage all of the design and construction phases. We were responsible for getting all necessary city approvals and permits, creating the architectural design, as well as managing the construction process and inspections. We applied our expertise in restaurant design to help create a place that has character and personality with lots of great details. After all, food is more enjoyable when you are at an inviting spot! Our coordination helped keep everything moving smoothly so we could stay on schedule during final completion.
